You didn’t come this far to only come this far.

If we had to guess, we’d say you’ve had a decent crack at sobriety, but you’re still not where you want to be. In other words, you can stop drinking, but you can’t stay stopped. We get it. You’re full of desire, but you’re missing the how.

How to love your alcohol-free life?
How to stay sober forever?
How to let go of the past?
HOW to be a sober woman?

We have the ‘how.’

If you’ve been flailing around in sobriety and want 2024 to be different, then this free five-day challenge is for you….

Freedom From Alcohol is a five-day masterclass designed to help you take the leap into a sober life beyond anything you can imagine.

“I’ve made great strides in clocking up my sober days and since the retreat, doing that work has truly been such a game changer for me. Not only keeping me sober but almost eliminating my craving which was a constant battle. I just wanted to give you that feed back and say thank you for this program. It’s truly making the biggest difference above anything else I have tried so far.” Caroline, age 50

Here are some reviews of our work:

"Veronica, I’m very grateful for the journey of sobriety, my journey. I’ve fought hard to get to a place where I can cease fighting.

This is the most amazing experience I have ever had."

- Kirstin
“Ann Dowsett Johnston brilliantly captures how alcohol stealthily invades lives. She courageously delves into the lure of alcohol—whether it comes from the culture around us, the false promises, or the pain we seek to numb.”

- David A. Kessler, former commissioner of the FDA

Let's break it down.

We’re hosting daily, live sessions from Monday, Jan. 22, to Friday, Jan. 26, at 1
pm EST/6 pm UK. During the hour we spend together, we’ll cover a key principle of lifelong sobriety and then make it practical for you to embrace. All you need is a spark of curiosity to join.

[Day 1 Monday 22nd of January] Why willpower isn’t enough

Just the thought of not drinking will give you the Fear OF Missing Out. But missing out on what exactly? Learn how hidden forces are working against you and how. Armed with the correct information and tactics, you can shush the narrative that always tells you to drink.

[Day 2 Tuesday 23rd of January] Numbing and running will never work

We drink because of how we feel and find ourselves trapped in a cycle of numbing and running. Don't like how you feel? Have a drink! Feeling lots of uncomfortable feelings? Escape into a bottle! We default to alcohol to manage our feelings and emotions. But there is a better way. On day two, we will learn what that is.

[Day 3 Wednesday 24th of January] The secret to getting free from alcohol… for good

There is more to stopping drinking than just stopping drinking. Learn how to build a sobriety practice that maintains your mental and emotional health for the rest of your life. Because, here’s the thing: When we do that, we can finally love ourselves (and ditch the desire to drink).

[Day 4 Thursday 25th of January] How to have a sober life that doesn't suck

To build a sober life that we love, we must learn how to change our thinking and belief systems. Change is an inside job. On day four, we dive into the 'how.' How you can have different responses to events, how to get ahead of your feelings, and how to never want alcohol again (really!).

[Day 5 Friday 26th of January] How to fall in love with sobriety

Sobriety sounds good in theory, but most people feel like living it out will leave a gaping void. Why do some people get this and some people don't? Discover simple mindset changes that can transform your attitude to lifelong sobriety.

Can’t make it live?

Sign up anyway. You’ll have access to the recordings for one week after the event.

BONUS LIVE Q&A:

As you begin putting everything you’ve learned into practice, questions may come up. So, we’re adding a sixth-day Q&A with Ann & Veronica to the program. Mark your calendars for Monday, Jan. 29, 1 pm EST 6 pm UK!

Laura McKowen, author of We Are The Luckiest:

“Before me, before Holly, before Annie, before Sarah, before sober curious, and sober is the new black and sober influencer and sober AF and sober as a lifestyle choice, and all the hashtags and brands and podcasts and books and movements and recovering out loud—there was Ann. She laid the groundwork that we women got to walk on and build from. She researched and wrote and spoke publicly about women and alcohol and the pinking of the alcohol industry before any of us.”
"When I first joined the program, I had worked myself into living in a very small world in an effort to try to protect myself from triggers, which only exacerbated the situation. Throughout the past year with the support of Veronica, I have learned many practices that have allowed me to expand my world and live a much fuller life. The support from the other women who made up 'The Inner Circle', were supportive, inspiring, and instrumental in the success of my journey. I am extremely grateful for the experience and for the practices I have learned and for the new path for my future."
